As mentioned previously railways want their employees to have the right medical treatment, fair compensation, and generally treated fairly. However there are claims where medical costs are covered and lost wages are recovered, but there is disagreement on what amount of additional compensation is fair. In these cases railroads and plaintiffs must spend money on legal support which can become a very expensive process for both sides. |
